I love any chance I can get to use fun, whimsical illustrations in my work. In various client project (with a few personal ones sprinkled in), I've been able to create digital illustrations for mediums like Christmas cards, infographics, mascots, logos and social media graphics. Below are a few excerpts from some of my favorite illustration-driven projects.

InfographicsThrough the Contently platform, I worked with project managers from Guardian Life Insurance and Gild on infographics for their brands. The LGBTQ Proud infographic helped Guardian Life Insurance earn a perfect score on Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index, and The ABCs of Financial Literacy went on to receive a 2016 IFCA Award of Excellence. Get Help from a Hire Power, written by Bill Beard, was featured in the Gild corporate blog.

Women@LinkedIn
Inspired by the American Heart Association’s Go Red for Women campaign, Women@LinkedIn wanted to spread awareness about heart disease in women. I created a series of eye-catching posters, highlighting statistics provided by AHA, to post in the LinkedIn NYC office and an invitation to a Red Dress cocktail event. The designs were also used for the event’s snacks!

Philadelphia Food Trust
(Graphic Design Practicum, University of Pennsylvania)
One of my first “real-world” design experiences was through the Graphic Design Practicum course in my final year at Penn. Throughout the semester, we worked with two local clients, one of which was the Philadelphia Food Trust. Their challenge was branding local Philly farmer's markets as places for all people to come and access fresh produce. As a class we worked on branding, programming, and more to open up the markets to a broader audience. My contribution focused on children's programming and family nutrition education. The mascot was a little butternut squash monster named Sasquash that would appear in signage and swag to provide a welcoming space for people of all ages to learn about healthy food.
